Remi, a pup from our Sam and Sadie litter in 2019 was adopted by friends of ours. This young man has a strong bond with his dog...a classic story that means just as much today as it did 100 years ago.

Middle Ridge Retrievers is highly recommended! Before my sweet girl was even born I had made contact with Scott and wanted to reserve a chocolate lab for the next litter. I got a quick response. I was informed that I would be told when the litter was born and if there was even any chocolate available! After I was able to pick out my girl River. Scott was so good with keeping me updated with her progress and vet appointments! I was able to pay periodically thru paypal until her pickup date. Pickup was a great experience as well! I was informed of her vet record and what I needed to do to continue her AKC papers. When taking River to the vet for the 1st time the vet stated that she was a great and healthy dog! I can't thank Scott and his family enough for raising such great dogs! When I'm in the market for another fur baby I will definitely be contacting Middle Ridge Retrievers!
I highly recommend Middle Ridge Retrievers. We bought a Yellow Lab female from them in June, 2019. When I took her to our vet the day after we picked her up, he said that she was in very good to excellent health and condition. This I attribute to the excellent care she was given since birth. Our "Rosie" loves not only our family, but anyone who visits our home. She is both very sweet and very active. All this is due not only to careful breeding, but most importantly the care Scott and his family give the puppies. Cannot beat all of that personal care and veterinary care that they provide for the puppies. On a scale of 1 to 10 I put them at "15".
Our puppy buying experience started off with Scott explaining everything from health and vet visits of the pups to payment which was super easy. He told us about the parents of our pups and supplied us with AKC registration paperwork with lots of information. Scott has kept in touch periodically through this first year which lets me know he cares about the dogs’ wellbeing. Now for the Puppies, these two have to be the smartest dogs we have ever had. Crate trained with ease and house trained with only a few accidents. My dog will actually go up and shake the door handle with his nose in front of you when he needs out. Easily learned all the basic commands and I think they have played fetch since we brought them home. They are also perfect with our daughters so couldn’t have asked for a better set of pups.
